Chelsea Hover

At a young age, I knew I wanted to be a journalist.  Something about the combination of truth-telling, word weaving, and being of service to society called to me.  Most of my early years were spent in pursuit of by-lines on the biggest platforms I could achieve.  By age 20 I was reporting the news live on TV every night, and even got to report live on CNN twice. Broadcast journalism launched me into a new echelon of the media spotlight, which I thought would mean making a bigger impact.  Instead, my five years as a reporter, producer, and weekend anchor in TV news was disenchanting at best.  So, on the road to burn out, I hung a left instead, crafted my letter of resignation (a sublime and utter display of unabashed truth-telling!), and enrolled in yoga teacher training the following week.

I'll sum up the past 20 years of teaching yoga, mentoring youth, leading workshops and international service retreats to say...I definitely found a more potent way to deeply help other people. I also grew as a business owner, entrepreneur, and marketing specialist.  And now I get to utilize all these skills with my writing work as well...

In 2020, when the pandemic changed everything, I started freelance writing and I've never looked back! All my years of experience writing, interviewing, investigating, marketing, and cultivating awareness culminates into this "job" that honestly feels like fun to me. I feel blessed to get to collaborate with conscious-raising businesses and entrepreneurs all over the world to elevate brands with SOUL.
